JAPAN-AMERICA SOCIETY OF CENTRAL OHIO

セントラルオハイオ日米協会

Moving to a foreign country with your family is a great challenge. Many Japanese families courageously move to Ohio each year for any number of years due to employment opportunities.

Sometimes it doesn't matter how much you research or how well you speak English, there are things that are difficult to figure out. So JASCO, with assistance from our friends at Columbus 2020, bring you a short guide of things you may need to know about living in the Columbus Region. From safety to schools, to driving and medical basics, all in Japanese.

This project was originally developed with assistance from Ms. Reiko Hill (of Heart-Bridge Ohio), Ms. Mika Murakami, Ms Izumi Nishimura, and Mr. Akio Seino (JASCO Board Member). The 2013 update was completed with assistance from Columbus 2020 and Ms. Yoko Kuehn.
