Mr. Anthony Weis
Tony Weis is a Partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the corporate group. Tony represents and counsels public and private companies on a broad range of legal matters, including corporate governance, business formation, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, contract negotiations, disclosure and reporting under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and regulatory compliance. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to assisting Japanese companies in establishing and operating U.S. affiliates and joint ventures. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and has been recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyers Rising Star.
Tony received his J.D. summa cum laude from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law and received his B.S.B.A summa cum laude from Bowling Green State University. Tony has served on the Board of Directors of Greater Columbus Sister Cities International since 2014.
Tony began his service on the JASCO Board in 2009.
Mr. Doug Muszynski

Doug Muszynski is Senior Vice President of PNC’s Corporate Banking group in Central Ohio. As Market Leader, he leads a team of Corporate Bankers to grow, retain, and attract long term client relationships and serve as their client’s trusted financial partner through needs based solutions. Responsibilities include: Lead a group of Corporate Banking Relationship Managers to exceptional financial results; Maintain PNC's superior credit quality; Develop personnel talent for current and future achievement; Assist in the allocation of PNC resources in the Central Ohio community.
Previously, Doug was PNC’s Credit Manager for Central Ohio. His responsibilities included managing the commercial loan portfolio of the Central Ohio region to balance portfolio growth and maintain superior credit management, low credit losses, and provide superior value to stockholders. He approved the extension of credit for a variety of clients of varying degrees of complexity so as to provide financial solutions to borrowers that are consistent with the bank’s risk management parameters and return requirements.
Doug earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Ohio University in 1989, his Masters degree in 1994 from the University of Dayton and is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Columbus. He entered the financial services industry in 1987 and has extensive experience in credit administration, commercial banking and retail banking.
Dr. Mari Noda

A resident of central Ohio for more than 25 years, Mari Noda began her service on the JASCO Board in 1997. Before coming to Ohio, she lived in Ithaca, New York, where she received all of her higher education degrees at Cornell University; Portland, Oregon, where she taught Japanese; Tokyo, Japan, her birth place; and Takarazuka, Japan, where she spent most of her younger days. She teaches Japanese and East Asian language pedagogy in the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at the Ohio State University. She is active in teacher-training, having trained more than 900 teachers of Japanese and Chinese over the last three decades at OSU, in the ALLEX (Alliance for Language Learning & Educational Exchange) Foundation Summer Institute, and ALLEX predecessor, Exchange: Japan Program.
Mari has served numerous professional organizations, including the Association of Teachers of Japanese as President and member of the Board of Directors, on the Executive Board of the Association of Departments of Foreign Languages, and on the national task force that produced the SAT Subject Test in Japanese. In Ohio, she has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Columbus Japanese Language School.
Mr. Akio Seino

Akio Seino is a Japanese native US CPA with extensive experiences in international and intercultural communication in the areas of accounting, audit, tax, manufacturing industry, cross border transactions and cross cultural decision making.
As a Director of Japanese Business Services at GBQ, Akio understands the current needs of Japanese companies in Ohio and find their solutions, connecting Japanese businesses with GBQ resources in the area of accounting, tax, and consulting, and advising Japanese companies ever changing business environment, regulations, and compliance needs.
Akio has 30 years of experiences in Public accounting in Japan, Hawaii, and Ohio, recently serving over 100 automotive suppliers and other Japanese businesses throughout Ohio and the Midwest, assisting Japanese executives doing business in the US and American executives doing business with Japanese companies and executives.
Akio is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Ms. Sachiyo Isoda Peterson

Sachiyo is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office. She counsels and assists clients in the highly complex area of immigration, nationality, and employer sanctions (I-9) law. She focuses her practice on employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visas for her clients’ global workforces. She helps clients maintain seamless business processes, including the attraction and the retention of international talent. Her practice spans various industries, including manufacturing, retail, universities, health care, agriculture and other corporations. At times, she also assists in family-based immigration matters.
Sachiyo received her J.D. from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law. She received her B.A. summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky.
