aBOUT jASCO

Membership

JASCO plays an important role in promoting relationships between the Japanese and American communities. To accomplish its mission, JASCO has events and activities for members that provide training and networking opportunities for business professionals as well as a number of projects in the community relating to the arts, culture, education, and friendship cities initiative. These events include:

  • Business culture seminars and career fairs to help improve cross-cultural communication and local economic development.
     
  • Publishing monthly newsletters with job postings and cultural topics to 1,700 subscribers nationwide. 


  • Hosting Annual Japanese Speech Contest to promote multi-cultural language education to Ohio High Schools and universities.
  • Our economic development seminar, where the Consul General of Japan in Detroit speaks along with other business representatives on topics of interest to the business community such as the Japan-Ohio relationship.

CORPORATE MEMBERSHIPS

Diamond For companies/organizations with 3,000+ employees $5,500
Platinum For companies/organizations with 1,000-2,999 employees $3,500
Gold For companies/organizations with 250-999 employees $2,000
Silver For companies/organizations with 20-249 employees $1,000
Bronze For companies/organizations with 1-19 employees $300
Educational Institution* For departments of educational institutions (schools, universities, etc.) $300
Local Governments For local governments and agencies $300

All employees/associates of a JASCO Corporate Member are eligible to receive a free corporate affiliate membership. Contact JASCO at info@jascentralohio.org to learn more.


*Educational Institution membership at the $300 level are for departments. Students enrolled in classes in these departments are eligible for a free individual Student membership. Full university/institution memberships should sign up at the level equivalent to the size of your institution's staff size.

Memberships run on a calendar year (January 1-December 31), and renew on January 1 of each year.
